Apple, Banana, and Melon class

 

This time, during the Parent Observation class, we learned about drinks! Mr. Thales and the children practiced saying, ‘I am thirsty,’ and learned five drink words: water, juice, milk, tea, and coffee. Mr. Thales asked the children to notice the differences between Japanese and English pronunciations. To practice, the children asked their parents for drinks by saying, ‘Water, please,’ and the parents replied, ‘Here you are.’ We also sang ‘The Bath Song‘ and danced while pretending to wash different parts of the body. Additionally, we sang the ABCs and focused on the phonic sounds for the letters W and Y. It was a fun day, and we were happy to have the parents join us!

 

今回は、参観日で飲み物について学びました！「水、ジュース、牛乳、お茶、コーヒー」の５つの飲み物の単語です。日本語と英語の発音の違いに気づくようにタレス先生が教えてくれました。

練習として、園児は好きな飲み物を選び「～ください」と飲み物を頼んだり、「どうぞ」と渡したりと親子で楽しみました。また、「The Bath Song」を歌い、体のさまざまな部分を洗いながら踊りました。さらに、ABCを歌い、WとYの発音も習いました。楽しい一日でした！保護者の皆さんに参加していただき嬉しかったです！
