Good afternoon everybody!

 

Today is the first day of June and that means we have changed to a different topic of learning. In June, 年少 will learn about the colours and shapes we can see each and every day in the world around us! In our new theme song this month, we will sing about circles, squares, triangles and hearts while also identifying colours.

 

年少 did wonderful work learning today`s colours and shapes in our song and when playing our game. They repeated `red circle`, `green triangle`,`blue square` and `pink heart`. They then had the additional challenge of finding our yellow star hidden behind one of the shapes. I was so pleased to see that everyone was willing to take part!

 

We sang our usual morning, days of the week and goodbye songs and each class is getting more confident all the time. It`s rewarding to see that they are remembering the vocabulary and actions!

皆さん、こんにちは！

　6月が始まり、英語のテーマも新しくなりました。6月は、年少クラスのみんなで身の回りにある「色」と「形」について学びます！今月のテーマソングでは、丸（circle）、四角（square）、三角（triangle）、ハート（heart）などの形と一緒に、さまざまな色についても楽しく歌っていきます。

 

今回のレッスンでは、歌やゲームを通して色と形を学びました。みんなで「red circle（赤い丸）」「green triangle（緑の三角）」「blue square（青い四角）」「pink heart（ピンクのハート）」を元気よく練習しました。また、形の後ろに隠れている「yellow star（黄色い星）」を探すという少し難しいチャレンジにも挑戦しました。みんなが積極的に参加してくれて、とても嬉しかったです！

 

いつものモーニングソング、曜日の歌、そしてグッバイソングも歌いました。どのクラスも少しずつ自信がついてきていて、覚えた単語や動きをしっかり思い出しながら取り組む姿を見るのはとても嬉しいことです。
