Good afternoon everyone!

 

The end of June has come already and soon it will also be the end of the first term, but 年少 can be proud of what they have achieved in such a short space of time! Throughout our June lessons they have become well acquainted with some of the shapes and colours that we see in our daily lives and now they can name them in English too. 

 

In our final lesson today we played one last colour matching game before reading a story about a scary green monster. But don`t worry, we told that monster to GO AWAY! and not bother us again while learning more about its yellow eyes, purple hair, red mouth, white teeth and green body. Everyone was safe and sound!

 

We sang our usual morning, goodbye, days of the week and shapes songs today too. Together, we are setting a good foundation for future English learning. Please consider listening to the songs at home as well! 🎶

皆さん、こんにちは！

 

6月もあっという間に終わり、もうすぐ1学期も終わりますね。年少クラスのみんなは、この短い期間で本当によく頑張り、大きく成長しました！6月のレッスンでは、身の回りでよく見かける色や形について楽しく学び、今ではそれらを英語でも言えるようになってきました。

 

今日のレッスンでは、色合わせゲームを楽しんだあと、「こわいみどりのモンスター」の絵本を読みました。でも大丈夫！みんなで「GO AWAY!（あっちへ行け！）」と言ってモンスターを追い払いながら、「yellow eyes（黄色い目）」「purple hair（紫色の髪）」「red mouth（赤い口）」「white teeth（白い歯）」「green body（緑色の体）」など、色を英語で確認することができました。おかげで、みんな最後まで安心して楽しくレッスンを終えることができました！

 

今日もいつものモーニングソング、曜日の歌、おかたづけの歌、そして形の歌を歌いました。こうした毎回の積み重ねが、これからの英語学習の大切な土台になっていきます。ぜひご家庭でも一緒に歌を聴いてみてくださいね！🎶
