Nencho played boys vs girls in trains and stations today🚉. Each team made a train and whichever team answered fastest got to pick up a team member at one of the stations. But they had to be quick because when Alyssa-sensei counted to five she showed the next card. Everyone really enjoyed going around the room as a train and sometimes teams even answered while still at a station! The teams were on fire🔥 Alyssa-sensei had to change cards several times because the teams answered in a draw. It’s really exciting to see how excited these classes get playing games and realizing they know English too! The power of play is a wonderful key🔑 in learning. 年長組は今日、「電車と駅」のゲームで男女対抗戦をしました🚉 チームごとに電車を作り、どちらのチームが一番早く答えられるかで、駅へ行き、チームメンバーをゲット！ でも、アリサ先生が「5つ数えるよ」と言うと、すぐに次のカードが出てくるのでみんな大急ぎでした。

お部屋の中を電車になってぐるぐる回るのがとても楽しく、なんと駅に着いたまま答えるチームも！ どちらのチームも大盛り上がりで、引き分けが続いてカードを何度も交換するほど白熱した戦いになりました🔥

ゲームを通して「英語がわかった！」という自信がどんどん育っていて、子どもたちの楽しむ力は学びの大きな鍵🔑だと感じます。さて、次はどんな英語を“遊びながら”学べるでしょうか？ 楽しみにしていてくださいね！
