Elephant and Bear classes came to play for Christmas! There’s always excitement when Elephant and Bear come to play but today had a special excitement; even usual shy friends were more outgoing. It was a wonderful sight to see✨

For Christmas we sang “Hello, Reindeer” and acted like reindeer🦌, snowmen⛄️, and Santa🎅🏼 Everyone loves to move their bodies so it was a great game to play. Then everyone gathered around for a little hide and seek. Alyssa-sensei has a present🎁 but Reindeer, Snowman, and Santa are hiding it somewhere. Who took the present? Can you guess? There were lots of guesses. Some were shouting out their guess and others were doing the gestures. Every time the present was revealed there were lots of excited cheers🥳

For some final Christmas cheer Elephant and Bear classes got jingle bells🔔 Everyone enjoyed ringing the bells to the song “Jingle Little Bell” from Super Simple Songs. エレファントさんとベアさんが、クリスマス英語あそびに来てくれました！ いつも元気いっぱいのエレファントさん・ベアさんですが、今日は特別なワクワク感があり、普段は少し恥ずかしがり屋のお友だちもとても積極的に参加していて、その姿がとても素敵でした✨

まずはクリスマスの歌「Hello, Reindeer」を歌いながら、トナカイ🦌・ゆきだるま⛄️・サンタさん🎅🏼になりきって体を動かしました。体を動かすことが大好きなみんなにぴったりの楽しい時間です。

そのあとは、みんなでちょっとしたかくれんぼゲーム。アリサ先生が持っているプレゼント🎁を、トナカイ・ゆきだるま・サンタさんのだれかが隠しています。「だれがプレゼントを持っているかな？」と質問すると、元気に答えたり、ジェスチャーで表現したりと、たくさんの予想が飛び交いました。プレゼントが見つかるたびに、教室は大きな歓声に包まれました🥳

最後はクリスマス気分をさらに盛り上げるため、エレファントさん・ベアさんみんなにジングルベル🔔が登場！ Super Simple Songsの「Jingle Little Bell」に合わせて、はやく鳴らしたり、ゆっくり鳴らしたり、高く・低く鳴らしたり…あちこちで小さなベルの音が響いていました。
