Good afternoon everybody!

 

Animals have been our theme throughout May for all classes, and 年長 have done exceptionally well at learning the names of different animals we might see in a forest and jungle. We`ve certainly all learned to stay away from skunks and tigers! We learned to listen for different animal sounds and to recognise which animals won`t harm us, or make us smell really bad!

 

Everyone loved the challenge of walking through jungles and forests and got better at identifying the animals we`ve been learning about over the weeks. We all enjoyed a bit of danger playing our `BOOM!` game, even if some were a little bit nervous to take part! Finally we did our Lion Hunt song because, rumour has it, we`ll be looking for one at our birthday party…

皆さん、こんにちは！

5月のテーマは、どのクラスでも「動物」です。年長クラスのみんなは、森やジャングルで見られるさまざまな動物の名前をとても上手に覚えることができました。特に、スカンクやトラには近づかないほうがいいということもしっかり学びました！動物たちの鳴き声を聞き分けたり、危なくない動物や、くさいにおいを出してしまう動物についても楽しく学びました。

みんなでジャングルや森を探検する活動も大盛り上がりで、これまで学んできた動物をどんどん見分けられるようになってきました。「BOOM!ゲーム」では、少しドキドキしながらも、みんな楽しそうに参加していました！最後には「Lion Hunt」の歌もしました。というのも…うわさによると、お誕生日会でライオンを探しに行くかもしれません！
