Good afternoon everyone!

 

Today Apple, Melon and Banana classes had their second lesson of the second term. I am impressed by how quickly they have adapted to the extended lesson time and how they still take part with gusto! In our lessons we continue to sing a morning song, review the days of the week, sing our theme song and play games to the vocabulary we are learning. This month is the tastiest month so far, we`re learning about food!

 

Our theme song is “Do you like Broccoli?” and in it we learn “broccoli”, “ice cream”, “doughnuts”, “juice”, “popcorn”, “pizza”, “bananas” and “soup”. Although these foods might be tasty by themselves, what happens if we mix them? I`m not sure I want to find out! Everyone had fun guessing our missing items and imagining the taste of the combined foods.

皆さん、こんにちは！

 

今日は年少クラスの2学期2回目の英語レッスンでした。長くなったレッスン時間にもすぐに慣れ、最後まで元気いっぱいに参加してくれているみんなの姿に、とても感心しています！

 

英語レッスンでは、いつものモーニングソングを歌い、曜日を確認したあと、テーマソングを歌い、学んでいる単語を使ったゲームを楽しんでいます。そして今月は、これまでで一番おいしそうなテーマです！「食べ物」について学びます！

 

今月のテーマソングは「Do You Like Broccoli?」です。歌の中では、broccoli（ブロッコリー）、ice cream（アイスクリーム）、doughnuts（ドーナツ）、juice（ジュース）、popcorn（ポップコーン）、pizza（ピザ）、bananas（バナナ）、soup（スープ）を覚えます。

 

どれもそれぞれ食べるとおいしそうですが、もし全部を混ぜたらどうなるでしょう？私はちょっと試してみたくないですね！今日は年少クラスのみんなで、なくなった食べ物を当てたり、いろいろな食べ物を組み合わせたらどんな味になるのか想像したりしながら、楽しく学びました。
